Project Breakdown

One of my first projects was branding and web “Smappecle” while working as a freelance designer contractor for “GOL-IT Consulting GmbH.” I applied for the position through Linkedin, and it was the start of a great collaboration between the CEO of that company, Gavrilo Olah, and me. This is the partnership that works through this day.

01

Choosing The Name

Smappecle ([ smæpɪk(ə)l/ ] – noun) is a software that provides app creation for small and medium-sized businesses.

Shortened for:
Smart Application Enterprise Client Environment

We worked as a team to bring life to this proof-of-concept.

02

Designing The Logo

Logos represent a given organization or company through a visual image that can be easily understood and recognized. I made the logo using combinations of the letters “S” and “M,” referencing the word “smart.”

I rotated and combined them so they formed a wave symbol. It connects the ability to adapt to many business needs and wishes.

03

Choosing Colors

A good logo is synonymous with the brand it represents. But another element makes up the story of a stamp: Its’ color. A logo’s color can say a lot about a brand.

It’s easy to understand why blue logos are such a popular choice. Blue is an inoffensive color, a safe but sophisticated hue. Smappecle’s blue color inspires trust. It is dependable and shows our strength to follow our goals.

04

Creating a Brand Guidelines Document

We designed the brand identity guidelines document to ensure a consistent look and a consistent tone in all communications. The Smappecle logo communicates trust and serves as the first impression of the software with any audience in person or online.

Each use has a specific role, but the magic happens when used together.
I have created a document that will help you understand the brand, what it stands for, and how to express it best.

05

Branding and Web Smappecle

And finally, it all comes to the online presence. That is why I have created a WordPress website for Smappecle. I have built it using the “Salient” theme, much the same as this website. It works like a charm, and the client was satisfied with the result.

Since the project has been a success, I started my own company, Bujak Design.
